Advocates for Climate Justice South Africa is a dedicated non-profit organisation led by a passionate group of individuals predominantly young and women, committed to leading discussions on climate justice using a youth and womencentred approach and advancing for climate justice in South Africa through advocacy, education, policy and research.
The organisation was founded following the increase in climate related events particularly in the KwaZulu-Natal province. We have seen the need to take up the fight against climate change and advocate for climate action to combat climate change and its social, economic and environmental impact in South Africa subsequently empowering women and the youth.
